Earth’s Size Compared to Other Planets (Video)

It’s amazing how small our little planet is compared to a lot of other planets. You just don’t realize until you see the other planets put beside earth. The video below does exactly that, I found it fascinating, I hope others do as well. You will find that Uranus is missing and here is the explanation:-
Uranus, the funniest planet of the Universe, is still missing. I left it out, because it has about the same size as Neptune and the surface looks boring. Later I realized that it is the only one missing, since Pluto lost its plantet-status. morn 14115

Oops, last reply was looking at the still shot. Different audio, but it looks like the last video was being blocked on copyright grounds. A shame. The previous audio track complimented the vid perfectly.

      Hi bingbing,
Yes he did say on his video channel that he had to redo the video, because it was even blocked for himself on his blog. It seems that You Tube lately is blocking a heap of video’s. I had to remove one of the video’s I had about Japan, it was fine when I put it in the blog, then 1 day later gone. 😡

Yeah, anyone chucks in a copyright claim, and YouTube just zaps it. In fairness however, they probably don’t have the time to check every single one.

YouTube pulled one of mine for ‘alleged breach of copyright’ … but wouldn’t say how I’d breached it, or who complained. I was filming in a public place, and the music was royalty-free, so I just can’t understand it …???

(It wasn’t very good, anyway! :D)

          Hi travelrat,
You Tube is getting beyond ridiculous, you would think that they would of at least let you know why. I know all your videos are your own, and the music is all royalty-free, surely they have made a huge mistake. Is there a way of e-mailing them for answers? There must be a way of contacting them, just to make sure they don’t do it again.

This reminds me of something I read some time ago … something of the nature of (can’t remember the exact figures) ‘ … if Earth was the same size as a golf ball, the Sun would have the same diameter as a truck wheel, and be thirty miles away’

    Pretty good vid.

I was wondering what was going on with some of the video’s, I have a few blogs that I like to read, and every now and then you click onto a video and it comes up either with a copyright notice, or this has been removed, or watch on you tube, It’s a shame you tube has done this, or whoever is involved, it must be frustrating for everyone that has blogs. It’s really strange, you can comment on a blog, the next day you go back, and the video you watched is gone in a day. Why do they allow embedding on these video’s to start with, it would be a lot better for everyone if the embedding was blocked, so that the bloggers could pick something that was going to stay in their posts.

      Hi Sue,
You have said that very well. I also cannot see why You Tube just doesn’t stop the embedding of these video’s, it certainly would make life a lot easier.
