House Floats Away above Desert :- America (Video Included)

National Geographic decided to float a house, in the style of the Disney 3D movie “Up”. For those that didn’t see the movie:- In the movie a guy called Carl Frederickson wanted to escape from his seniors home, so he attached balloons to his little house so he could escape to South America. (This of course is an animated movie)
Anyway National Geographic built a house lighter than normal attached 300 helium balloons and floated it above California’s High Desert, it was all for a new show called “How hard can it be”.
There is a small article about the floating house in Canada Now.

Here is a preview of the Disney Movie “Up” it was released in May 2009. If you would like to read more about the Disney movie filmjabber has a bit about the movie.

I watched the movie “Up” for the first time on Thanksgiving weekend with our relatives in Virginia. My sister-in-law and I kept crying during the sentimental scenes and our husbands were having a field day teasing us. 🙂

      Hi Barbara,
It was a fun movie, and there was some sad scenes in it.
I can just imagine the guys, no matter what age they do love to tease. 🙂
