Daisy the Cow Escapes (Fun Video)

I couldn’t help but laugh when I saw this, the farmer could not work out how his cows were getting out each night, so a camera was installed to catch whoever it was that was letting out the cows, really Daisy is one smart cow, and even sky news has written an article about Daisy the Cow.

Bless Daisy’s heart! Honestly, I believe animals are still evolving. She knew exactly what she was doing!

Not bad, for a “dumb” animal! Thanks for sharing that, Mags.

The Irish are so in tune with their animals that I’m not the least bit surprised Daisy turned into a bright pupil. This was so delightful…many thanks for knowing the delight it would bring.

      Hi souldipper,
That does seem to be the case. Daisy must of watched the Farmer open that gate thousands of times, and thought to herself, “I can do that”. ๐Ÿ™‚

My Grandad’s cows used to walk down a quiet country lane after milking, supervised only by his dog. Grandad took a short cut to the field, where he stood by the gate till they arrived.

Some walkers congratulated him on how well he had his cows trained … and, with a straight face, he replied:

‘They’re nowt to do with me! I’m just waiting to see how the dog manages to close the gate!

All mammals are smart, cows being no exception. Hmm, maybe we should elect cows to run the country…they couldn’t do any worse than the monkeys we have there now.

HAhaha! It’s amazing how animals show their true colours when they think no one is watching …!!!

Good gracious that is unbelievable. I wonder how a cow learned to do that??? You always tell us such interesting stories.

      Hi dearrosie,
It does make you wonder how she learned the technique, she seemed to have just the right angle for her tongue, it would be fascinating to know how long it actually took her to get right.

  8. Rebekah says:

Wonderful technique! I’m a great admirer of that cow!

  10. I am not surprised at Daisy’s intelligence (I am delighted by it), I have spent time watching calves playing together and it was an eye opener. Animals are far more intelligent than we give them credit for.
