Walking on Water (Fun Video)

From You Tube:-
Liquid Mountaineering is a new sport which is attempting to achieve what man has tried to do for centuries: walk on water. Or to be more precise: running on water. We are developing the sport from scratch. By accident we found out that with the right water repellent equipment you can run across bodies of water, just like a stone skimming the surface.

Liquid mountaineering is performed by professionals under professional supervision. Accordingly I must insist that attempting to do so is dangerous.

I really enjoyed watching this video and had a few laughs, I hope you enjoy it as well. πŸ™‚

Great! I can only agree with the above — if I were young I’d try it too… the idea is terrific, anything is possible πŸ™‚

      Hi Mal,
Yes it’s hard to say if it’s fake or not, it seems to be fake, but even so I would love to try it, the fun you could have, although like the other Ladies, I am a bit old for the running bit. But never too old for the fun bit. πŸ˜†

Lucky for us Malc checked myth busters for us. How funny that they made it seem as if they were serious! Very clever.

  6. Kymbo says:

Like Malc50 said…it’s a very nicely done fake. On the other hand it is possible with a very fast quad bike IF you hit the water going flat out…and you older ladies could do that… C’mon girls!

LOL! That was hilarious! I kept going and watched the first two minutes of the following video – Mythbusters trying to replicate it! HAHA!

“I must insist that attempting to do so is dangerous.”
Would it be any fun if it wasn’t?

Or you could just try it on snow skis…

  11. Our minds often work against us. It’s time we started getting them to work for us. We’re never going to be able to do anything if people persist in telling us that we can’t. You’re not supposed to be able to walk through a wall while you’re still in your body, but some people do. A wall is only an obstacle because we see it as such. It is fairly easy to throw up a wall that is invisible to us but which stops animals in their tracks. Horses won’t go through it and dogs sniff along its base to try to find an opening in it. It is done to stop hunts catching deer. You let the deer pass, then throw up the invisible wall. If we can do that, why can’t we do the opposite? “It’s all in the mind.”

  12. Selma says:

WOAH. I want to try it. It looks stupendous. What fun!

In the event I might upset someone who goes to church more often than I do, I shall refrain from comment! πŸ™‚

  14. Fergiemoto says:

    WOW – that’s amazing! I’m speechless.

  15. Fake or not, this is hilarious! I think I want to believe it, and I definitely want to try it because it’s so funny!

  16. At least they’re getting some good exercise in the process – better than sitting around all weekend watching TV!

There has to be an Aussie in on anything like this! Every one I’ve met is game for anything! πŸ˜€
