“Fizz” Power (Fun Video)

What happens when you mix 54 bottles of Coke Zero and 324 Mentos mints together? Well apparently you have a Coke and Mentos Rocket Car. This one is the Mark II; they claim it is smaller, lighter, sleeker, and faster than the Mark 1 (I missed the Mark 1 somehow 🙂 )

From YouTube:-
The Coke Zero & Mentos Rocket Car uses a piston mechanism: a six-foot long rod sits inside a six-foot long tube attached to each bottle of Coke Zero. When the Mentos drop into the soda, the pressure tries to push the rod out of the tube. With 54 rods all pushing at once, that gives us a lot of power.

    Hilarious. And messy.
I don’t want a Mark 2. I just want the free time it would take to set up…

Can you imagine getting that lot over your windscreen when you were trying to pass it? 😀

  4. That was hysterical! That background music was perfect, and when the driver honked the little horn that was priceless!

…maybe it’s good for your rocket, but not for your stomach…wish you all the best in the New Year…thanks for all your comments and likes:-)

      Hi Ianus Christius,
Yes, it makes you wonder what it would do in the old stomach, the mind boggles.
You are welcome, I have enjoyed your posts. 🙂

I don’t think it would be a commercial success, if they are considering mass production :).

      Hi Mal,
Are you sure? I’m sure I read somewhere that coke will clean just about anything, so wouldn’t that mean we would have very clean streets, after the rain washed away the coke? Which in turn would save on trucks, petrol, water, driver, that clean our streets now? Although what that has to do with commercial success I have no idea, but I thought it sounded good. 😀

Hilarious!!! Stuff like this always amazes me — how they came up with the idea…

  11. Was this supposed to be a publicity stunt, or are those men just plain crazy? All that sugar sticking to everything! Yuck!

    • magsx2 says:

      Hi Lady Marilyn,
There are a whole lot of “stunts” these guys do on YouTube, so I suppose the answer to that would be just plain crazy. 😀

  12. RoseCityRemona says:

That was great! Still giggling. I especially loved those two idiots and the fact they can’t do math – they added themselves up to only ‘1 idiot’.

  13. This reminds me of the girl who told us all that if we drank coke and then took two Alka Seltzers our stomachs would explode. We all thought she was nuts and laughed about it. She may have been on to something.

      Hi writingfeemail,
I remember back in school (many, many, years ago 🙂 ) we also heard these “rumors” as well, it does make you wonder. 🙂

  14. Wow! A lot of thought went into the design of this “car.” And at least the exhaust is biodegradable! 😉 (I think.)

  15. Selma says:

Brilliant. Who knew Coke Zero could be so useful. Hahaha.

  16. Fergiemoto says:

Amusing!…but who thinks up this kind of stuff?

    • magsx2 says:

      Hi Fergiemoto,
It certainly does make you wonder doesn’t it, I’m assuming there would of needed to be a fair bit of maths applied to work it all out.

I spit my tea when the tall guy pulls his gauch out of his butt near the end.
